The VASER technology produces remarkable results by treating areas of fat with ultrasound energy, then gently removing the fat through a small tube inserted under the skin. This minimally invasive procedure is designed to be gentle to the body and highly effective, giving patients smooth contours they want with less tissue damage than traditional liposuction.

The procedure

Special saline solution (tumescent fluid) is injected under the skin to make the area numb and shrink local blood vessels. It also temporarily expands the target area, in order to make it easier to remove the fat cells.

Small probes are then inserted into the body through small incisions. These probes resonate at a high ultrasound frequency, shaking fat cells lose it though cavitation effect, while leaving surrounding tissues intact.

The loose fat cells combine with the tumescent fluid, and are then removed from the body using special cannulas, which will extract it through negative pressure and help preserve the surrounding tissues.

The superficial “S” mode of the VASER technology provides extra energy to the underneath skin thus promotes collagen synthesis and eventually results in a better skin draping and contracture.
