It then allows the plastic surgeon to do a \u201cvirtual rhinoplasty\u2019, using his or her own knowledge. This will generate measurements, so which allows them to make patient specific tools to use during the actual surgery. Thus, surgical planning becomes much more accurate and better matched to the needs of the patient. These measurements are then entered into the 3D software.
